What Sornic Is

Sornic is a web service that converts online articles into audio using AI text-to-speech technology. You provide a URL, we extract the article content, and generate an audio version you can listen to.

Acceptable Use

By using Sornic, you agree to:

• ✓Only convert articles you have the right to access
• ✓Use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes
• ✓Not attempt to bypass rate limits or abuse the service
• ✓Not use automated tools to access the service at scale
• ✓Not redistribute generated audio commercially

Usage Limits

Free usage is limited to a certain number of articles per day (currently 5). These limits exist to keep the service sustainable and may change over time.

Content Responsibility

You are responsible for the URLs you submit. Sornic processes articles from third-party websites — we don't control or endorse their content. The audio we generate is a derivative of that content.

Copyright

Sornic is designed for personal use, similar to a browser's "reader mode" or text-to-speech accessibility features. Converting an article to audio for personal listening is generally considered fair use. However, you should not redistribute, publish, or commercially exploit audio generated from copyrighted articles.

Service Availability

We aim to keep Sornic available but can't guarantee 100% uptime. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. Some websites may block our extraction — this is a limitation of the technology, not a bug.

No Warranty

Sornic is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that:

• ✗The service will always be available
• ✗Article extraction will work for every website
• ✗Audio quality will meet your expectations
• ✗The service will be error-free

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sornic and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We reserve the right to block access to users who violate these terms or abuse the service. Since we don't have accounts, this would be done via IP blocking.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of Sornic after changes means you accept the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Thailand.
